Welcome to TicToolBox / TicTools (collectively referred to as the “Software”), developed and distributed by the TicToolBox team (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Software.


1. Software Description

The Software is a third-party productivity tool designed to extend and enhance the functionality of SOLIDWORKS®, including but not limited to:

  • Batch export of files in multiple formats
  • Batch printing of drawings
  • Batch renaming of files
  • Batch modification of custom properties
  • Template replacement and other workflow automation features

The Software operates locally on the user’s computer and does not require cloud processing.


2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software in accordance with these Terms.

Unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase:

  • Licenses are issued per device or per user, depending on the license type.
  • Each license is intended for use by a single individual or a single machine.
  • Commercial use is permitted only for paid licenses.

3. Free, Trial, and Paid Versions

  • Free or Trial versions may include functional or time limitations.
  • Paid versions unlock additional features or remove usage restrictions.
  • We reserve the right to modify feature availability between versions at any time.

4. License Activation and Delivery

  • License activation may require hardware or system information for identification purposes.
  • License files or activation codes are typically delivered via email.
  • License delivery is generally completed within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Circumvent license validation or usage restrictions
  • Rent, lease, sublicense, resell, or redistribute the Software
  • Use the Software for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices

6. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Software, including its code, structure, design, icons, logos, documentation, and all related intellectual property rights, is owned by us and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

This license does not grant you any ownership rights in the Software.


7. Compatibility and Third-Party Software

  • The Software is a third-party product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Dassault Systèmes or SOLIDWORKS®.
  • Compatibility with specific versions of SOLIDWORKS® is provided on a best-effort basis.
  • We do not guarantee compatibility with all system configurations, add-ins, or macros.

8. Updates and Changes

We may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Software at our discretion.

  • Updates may include bug fixes, feature changes, or performance improvements.
  • We do not guarantee that all updates will be backward compatible.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We specifically disclaim any warranties of:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Use of the Software is at your own risk.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of productivity, loss of profits, or business interruption
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the license, if any

11. Data and Privacy

  • The Software primarily operates offline and processes files locally.
  • We do not intentionally collect or transmit design files, drawings, or proprietary engineering data.
  • Limited system information may be used solely for license validation purposes.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • You must cease all use of the Software
  • Any license granted to you will be revoked

13. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Digital products are generally non-refundable once a license has been issued
  • Refunds may be considered at our discretion in exceptional circumstances

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.


15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
